As you approach the San Lorenzo Cathedral (Cattedrale di San Lorenzo), you'll be struck by its dramatic Romanesque Gothic façade. Constructed between the 12th and the 16th centuries, it has two majestic stone lions standing guard protecting the many religious relics housed inside, including the Sacro Catino, believed to be the Holy Grail.
At the completion of your guided walking tour, you will have free time to browse through the shops and boutiques along the Sottoripa, which has the atmosphere of an old-world bazaar.
