WHAT YOU VISIT
Hiking the Kashubian Region
Named for the ethnic group known as the Kashubians, their culture marries Christian elements with older Slavic customs influenced by Catholic figures such as St. Benedict. Join a small group and learn their history and culture while soaking up the beauty of the region with an exhilarating hike. From the pier, a minibus will wind its way along a scenic route to the departure point where you'll meet your guide. Then, you'll set out on an eight-kilometer (nearly five-mile) trail through the verdant forest. Once you return to the minibus, you'll journey to the Reboszewo windmill atop Sobotka Hill. Designed to look centuries old, it's a 2012 replica of a traditional Polish post mill windmill.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
You'll be absorbed in views overlooking rolling green hills and sparkling blue lakes that are home to white-tailed eagles and owls.
LUNCH
Enjoy a traditional lunch in the great outdoors by a campfire at the Reboszewo windmill atop Sobotka Hill. Feast on local sausages and vegetables, salads, bread and sweet cake while looking out over Brodno Lake.
