WHAT YOU VISIT
Beach Park at Porto das Dunas
Once you arrive at the resort complex of Porto das Dunas, you'll be greeted with a caipirinha drink, refreshing concoction of cachaça, sugar, and lime juice. Then, you'll have three hours to yourself to explore. Take a refreshing swim, a stroll along the soft golden sand beach or stretch out in a lounge chair and feel the warm, tropical breezes surround you. The park features water slides, attractions such as a 134-foot-high free-fall water slide, a closed waterslide shaped like a giant moray eel and a children's area.

The tropical rainbow of golden sand, turquoise water and blue sky are ready-made photo ops.
LUNCH
When hunger calls, you can purchase lunch in any one of the restaurants or barracas that dot the beach.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
A comfortable 50-minute ride takes you from the pier through Fortaleza's busy streets and over the Pacoti River to the beach at Porto das Dunas.

Special Notes
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat. Beach activities are available at your own risk and expense. Chaise loungers are limited on a "first come, first served" basis and there is a cost of approximately $6 USD per person. Plastic chairs and tables ae free.
Your guide will do his/her best to speak English, but please keep in mind that the limited tourism infrastructure of Fortaleza is part of the city's charm, and bear with any language difficulties he/she may encounter.
