What you will visit:

Roosevelt Campobello International Park

Explore Campobello Island, a small Canadian island and home to Roosevelt Campobello International Park, a sprawling 2,800-acre natural area preserve and idyllic enclave where Franklin D. Roosevelt and his family enjoyed over 50 summers. Travel by lobster boat and motorcoach, then wander through the preserved splendor of the Roosevelt summer residence, a majestic 34-room haven frozen in time since 1920. Engage with your docent who will unveil the treasures of this memorabilia-laden cottage, before embarking on independent exploration of the park's myriad buildings, Visitors Center, and grounds. Your passport is required for this adventure.

What you will see along the way:

Nestled in the province of New Brunswick, Canada, Campobello Island, offers a delightful blend of natural beauty and historical significance. The island was the summer retreat of the late U.S. president Franklin D. Roosevelt, and his stunning waterfront estate is now preserved as the Roosevelt Campobello International Park. The park spans 2,800-acres and, in addition to historical buildings, features coastal headlands, rocky shores and beaches strewn with beach glass, cobble beaches, fields, and forests. Highlights include picturesque Mulholland Point Lighthouse, scenic landscapes, and Friar's Head lookout for bay views.
