Begin your excursion at the pier in Dover as you board your motorcoach and travel on the motorway to London's Tower Pier on the Thames River. Here, you'll board your riverboat for a scenic cruise through London on the Thames. Your vessel features a glass observation deck, as well as an open-air promenade deck.
You'll see the neo-Gothic Parliament buildings that dominate the Thames River bank. You'll also pass the Tower of London where William the Conqueror created London's notorious royal prison and the site of bloody executions. The Victorian-era Tower Bridge is situated adjacent to the Tower of London.
Next, travel to the best vantage point in London: the London Eye. Built to celebrate the Millennium, the London Eye is the world's highest observation wheel. You'll take an approximately 35-minute flight on London's giant Ferris wheel in one of the specially designed glass capsules connected to the rotating wheel. This ride will lift you high above the city, providing extraordinary views across the city. On a clear day, the panorama stretches to Heathrow Airport and Wembley Stadium.
Enjoy some free time in the Westminster area before returning to Dover and back to your cruise ship.
