Dover by Private Vehicle - Van Class Half Day (With Guide)

Vehicles with an English-speaking guide are offered on a half-day (four hours) basis. Deviations to duration, departure / return time or locations to be visited can be made onboard in advance but will incur an additional charge. This is a private arrangement, those accompanying you are the family or friends with whom you agree to share costs. We do not match groups of passengers to form a private group for the vehicle. Vehicles are extremely limited therefore reserve early. These are special tours designed to offer the privacy and flexibility of touring with family or friends and the convenience of sightseeing at your own pace. We also recommend private tours for passengers with limited mobility.
These tours are ordered per vehicle. One person in your party places the order for the vehicle; the entire cost of the vehicle is charged to that person's shipboard account and cannot be divided among the party. A tour ticket will be issued onboard the ship and delivered to the cabin of the person booking this tour on embarkation day. Once onboard the ship, you will receive a form requesting the names of each individual in your party. This information is required to allow your party to disembark the ship for the tour. Please provide this information promptly to avoid being denied to participate.

The below information is a guideline to assist in your planning. Please note that tours to London will require a full day due to traffic condition.
Leeds Castle: The drive from Dover to Leeds Castle is approximately 45 minutes, dependent on traffic conditions. Open daily Apr - Sept from 10:30 - 18:00, Oct - Mar 10:30 - 17:00.
Chartwell: The drive from Dover to Chartwell is approximately 1 hour 30 mins, dependent on traffic conditions. Open daily from 11:00 - 17:00 in summer months.
Tower of London: The drive from Dover to Tower of London is approximately 1 hour 45 mins, dependent on traffic conditions. Open daily. Mar - Oct, Tues - Sat: 09:00 - 17:30, Sun - Mon: 10:00 -17:30. Last admissions at 17:00
White Cliffs of Dover, approximately 15 minute drive from pier
Canterbury, approximately 35 minute drive from pier
