Zodiac Whale Watching Cruise
Heralded as the "Whale Watching Capital of the Caribbean," the waters off the Dominican coastline teem with marine life. This tour offers a high-powered Zodiac experience. Dominica has become a preferred destination in the Caribbean for the sighting of whales, and it is the only country in the world that has a year-round population of sperm whales. The high success rate for sightings is due to the fact that the sheltered bays along the coastline offer perfect conditions for the whales to breed and calve. To aid in your search, your crew will periodically lower a hydrophone into the water to listen for the rhythmic clicking and whistling of whale communication. When they are spotted, the agile nature of the vessel allows the captain to get up close and personal for a unique encounter. Although we cannot put a guarantee on Mother Nature, whale-watching excursions in Dominica have a high success rate.

Minimum age to participate is 6 years old. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women and those with neck or back injuries. You must be able to step on and off the boat. There is a no shoe policy once inside the boat, the shoes will be stored in compartments under the seats.
