Your guide has a wealth of experience and is motivated to help you understand everything there is to know about Litchfield. There is plenty of 'doing' on this tour as well! Litchfield has an abundance of water attractions to choose from to suit most levels of abilities and desires. From the boutique Florence Falls through to the grand spectacle of Wangi Falls, it has it all.

Enter Litchfield from the west where take the time to enjoy a spot of morning tea in front of the grand spectacle of Wangi Falls. Savour the home made mango muffins to the soundtrack of thundering falls! Stand in awe as the water plunges over the rocky cliff face 40 metres above.

From there move to Tolmer Falls. The highest waterfall in Litchfield with expansive view out across the plains below. A truly great place to appreciate the 1.5 billion years of geological evolution which has crafted this landscape.

Having taken in the view and energy of Tolmer it is time for something a bit more relaxed, Tabletop Wetland. Perched serenely on top of the plateau it offers the perfect place to be still. Listen for the birds, decipher the reflections in the water or watch the playful lizards in the understory.

Next is Florence Falls and Buley Rockhole. These Edenic features may offer an opportunity to frolic in the crystal clear waters of the north. Water temperatures of around 25 degrees beacon the engaged traveller (swimming is subject to weather conditions).

It is now time to get up close and personal with the termite mounds which have been ever present on your journey thus far. The colossal Cathedral Termite Mounds and slightly eerie Magnetic Mounds are features of the Top End. Learn why they are key to all that you have been doing today from your guide and marvel at these little architects of nature. From here it is time to return to Darwin.
