WHAT YOU VISIT
UTV Off-Roading & Beach Break
Known to locals as Bandabou, the island's west coast boasts a rugged coastline carved by the powerful waves of the sea. Get off the beaten track and witness its beauty in a 4x4 Utility Terrain Vehicle. This adrenaline-packed adventure begins when you arrive at base camp and meet your tour guide for a safety briefing. Then you and a passenger will travel safari style with your well-trained guide in the lead. Navigate rocky roads through the awe inspiring San Pedro plains and traverse a landscape of limestone plateaus and wind turbines with stunning views of the Caribbean. Soon, you'll stop at one of the hidden caves that dot the area. Step inside and discover its unique geological formations such as stalactites. Back in your UTV, cross the salt flats, a remnant of 17th century Dutch salt mining operations to the stunning coastal area of Boca Patrick and the nearby Daai Booi Beach for a relaxing swim.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
While driving through the salt flats, keep an eye out for flamingos and other bird species that inhabit the area.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Cacti strewn across the west's rugged, dry landscape and rocky shores are natural wonders not to be missed.
