What you will visit:
Hato Caves
Marvel at the imposing stalactites and stalagmites, which produce unusual shadows in the caves' eerie lighting. Within the caves, you will find unexpected crystal-clear pools and waterfalls that form in the limestone's depths. The caves are also a haven for a colony of rarely seen long-nose fruit bats. These caves were originally used as a hiding place for runaway slaves and prior to that as a shelter for island natives. It is possible to find cave drawings on the rock walls that date back over 1,000 years.

Willemstad
One of the six UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Caribbean, Willemsted was selected in 1997 because of the city's dedication to the preservation of culture and its multicultural community that has grown over three centuries. The architecture and ambiance of Willemstad reflect influences from around the globe. Notable sights include Fort Amsterdam; and the Queen Emma floating bridge.

Curacao Heritage Experience Center (Nena Sanchez)
A vibrant cultural experience housed in historic Landhuis Jan Kok, showcasing the colorful artwork of Curaçao artist Nena Sanchez while celebrating the island's heritage, landscapes, traditions, and natural beauty.

Boka Tabla
At this national park, the sea has carved a natural arch out of the volcanic coastline, and the powerful surf causes the waves to crash forcefully on the rock formations. The sight and sound of this natural phenomenon will take your breath away.
What you will see along the way:
Take in the colorful sights of Willemstad as well as the island's north countryside to see the area's stark landscape and dramatic salt marshes. Bright pink flamingos dot the monochromatic landscape, and small traditional villages can be seen. Enjoy the view over the Caribbean Sea at Playa Forti and lovely Knip Beach is a natural white-sand beach.

Photo Opportunity:
You might be lucky enough to capture a pink flamingo strutting its stuff along the salt lakes of Jan Kok. A photo stop includes the home of Jan Kok. Built in 1840, it is one of the oldest land houses in Curaçao.

Lunch:
Pause for a refreshing lunch on the ship.
