Calanques de Piana Adventure by RIB: A Small-Group Tour
Forged out of limestone over 100,000 million years ago, Calanques National Park is known for its rugged coastline with white limestone cliffs that drop into the sea. Witness its beauty by RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat). Capable of startling acrobatic maneuvers and high speeds, RIBs provide an excellent vehicle for this exhilarating excursion. Limited to a maximum of 12 passengers per boat, you're assured a more engaging experience. Before boarding, you'll receive a safety briefing and suit up in a life jacket. Then, hang on as the captain revs the engine and steers the RIB onto the crystal blue Mediterranean waters towards the Calanques. Once you arrive, the captain will switch off the engines and you can go for a swim. Back on the boat, you'll continue on to the charming village of Girolata to explore on your own.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Calanques, the Mediterranean equivalent of fjord, are known for their dramatic good looks. Tucked among the rugged cliffs are seagulls, cormorants and sea eagles.
SNACKS
On your return trip to Ajaccio, enjoy a taste of Corsican specialties such as sausages, cheese and fruits accompanied by red or rosé wine and soft drinks.

Marvel at Mother Nature's majesties as the captain sets a course that maximizes jaw-dropping views.

Special Notes
Changing rooms are not available. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Bring along a waterproof jacket for the RIB ride.
Swim at your own risk. Minimum age is 12 years. The ride may be bumpy. Guests who are pregnant or have a heart, back or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Swimming is season and weather dependent.
