Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
Your excursion begins when you board your motorcoach at the pier and head out from Falmouth. You'll drive through the Cornish countryside, a landscape of rolling fields, hedgerows, low-slung granite farmhouses and small villages to Charlestown en route to Polperro.
We'll stop at Charlestown Harbour for a photo opportunity. This tiny village and harbour appear frozen in time since its heyday as a shipping and shipbuilding port in the late 18th century.
Upon arrival at Polperro, you'll disembark from your motorcoach, as this charming village's narrow lanes are closed to visitors' vehicular traffic.
Relax and enjoy the tranquillityof a slower pace and stroll the village streets on your own. Fishing boats still moor in the tiny harbour, and the town is filled with small cafés and pubs where you may sample a traditional cream tea or a Cornish pasty. Once a smugglers' haven, today the old shops that offered contraband now pitch local pottery, paintings, jewellery and maritime crafts. After a couple hours of free time to explore the village-shop and have lunch-you'll walk back to the motorcoach for the return trip to the ship.
