Domaine Thalvin Winery

The combination of the protective Atlas Mountains, humidity from the Atlantic Ocean and a marvelous microclimate create one of the region's most vibrant wine-producing regions. Domaine Thalvin is the largest and oldest winery in Morocco and the recent recipient of two gold medals and one silver at the Bordeaux International Wine Challenge. The winery uses eco-friendly growing methods, and a tour of its growing area, caves and production methods offers insight into the process by which the grapes are turned into the vintner's liquid creations.
