Depart the pier with your luggage, en-route to Cape Town International Airport you will stop for a wine & cheese pairing at a well known wine estate. Your first stop will be at a picturesque wine estate here you will participate in a formal wine and cheese pairing. Local cheese is carefully chosen to compliment the 5 wines especially chosen from the estate.
After your wine tasting you will drive to Stellenbosch. Stellenbosch is named after its founder, Governor Simon van der Stel, who discovered the broad fertile valley of the Eerste River in 1679. Today, this is one of South Africa's premier wine-producing regions.
Stellenbosch has one of the most beautiful settings of all South Africa's inland towns. Its original oak-lined streets, clear water furrows and classic architecture have all been preserved, and some of which have been declared national monuments.
After a short orientation drive you will have some free time to explore Stellenbosch on your own. Choose to do some shopping, enjoy the Cape Dutch Architecture or simply enjoy a coffee at one of the many restaurants.
After your visit in Stellenbosch, you will be taken to Cape Town International Airport for your flight home.
