Peaceful villages, rice paddies and colourful orchid gardens stretch out before you when you embark on a pleasant half-day cycling tour of the beautiful Nha Trang countryside. Nothing is as exhilarating as exploring under your own power, and your smooth, scenic ride takes you past photographic landscapes and authentic sights.

Board your motorcoach at the pier and travel through lively Nha Trang, Vietnam's most famous seaside resort town. Your destination is the Loc Tho Pagoda. Here you'll stop at the bike station, meet your guide and familiarize yourself with your comfortable touring cycle. Don your helmet and set off as a group along a series of coastal roads.
Loc Tho Pagoda, which serves as both a place of worship and a school for orphans and underprivileged children. The teachers donate their time to educate and support the 130 students who reward their efforts with their heart-warming smiles.

Turn inland and cycle up and down gently undulating hills, through bamboo groves and under the cool shade of palm trees. Your route takes you past tiny villages, where friendly locals live. This tour is a wonderful way to experience rural Vietnam and to see how the farmers cultivate their fields, many using century-old traditions.

From here, travel along rural roads, where you'll come upon an ancient house. This fascinating relic of yesteryear, dates to the 18th century and is complete with Buddha statues.

On the banks of the lazy Cai River, pause for refreshments at a quaint restaurant. Sample local seasonal fruits in this picturesque setting and sip fresh coconut juice, naturally fortified with replenishing electrolytes.

Then, enjoy a refreshment and light buffet lunch, browse for souvenirs and view a traditional Vietnamese cultural performance to complete your tour.
