John F. Kennedy himself chose this idyllic locale set on a nine acre park overlooking the waterfront, facing the sparkling sea and the city he loved. Tragically, Kennedy was assassinated prior to the start of construction on the library but this striking I.M. Pei-designed building is a vibrant tribute to the 35th president's legacy. The museum details many facets of President Kennedy's life and political career through multimedia exhibits and re-creations of the president's time in office. Step back in history to the 1960s as you enter a series of intimate rooms containing artifacts, memorabilia and re-creations.
