Ghosts & Gravestones Evening Trolley Tour

The Ghosts & Gravestones "frightseeing" trolley tour was sparked by growing public fascination with the supernatural and the city's dark, storied past. Boston's history is steeped in eerie tales. Explore the chilling acts of the Boston Strangler and the notorious serial killer Jolly Jane, Paul Revere's midnight ride, the Salem Witch trials, and mysterious deaths that have long haunted its narrow, cobblestone streets. This interactive experience blends historical fact with theatrical storytelling, offering guests a thrilling way to explore the city's most haunted sites. Guided by costumed gravediggers aboard the infamous Trolley of the Doomed, guests step off to explore centuries-old burying grounds where history and legend collide. It's an unforgettable night of "spooktacular" fun.

What You Will See Along the Way:

The Ghosts & Gravestones trolley winds its way through one of the most haunted cities in America, marked by murder, tragedy, and ghoulish delights. Your evening tour includes such sites as the 400-year-old Granary Burying Ground, founded in 1660-the final resting place of three signers of the Declaration of Independence and Paul Revere; Boston's most haunted hotel, The Omni Parker House; and the scenes of some of the grizzliest murders in the city's history. Learn about the spirits said to haunt Emerson's Cutler Majestic Theatre and the Lady in White apparition that lingers at the Pilot House. You'll also have the opportunity to tour on foot two of Boston's oldest and eeriest burial grounds: Copp's Hill and either King's Chapel or Granary.

This tour involves a moderate amount of walking and is not recommended for guests with mobility challenges. It includes uneven and hilly pathways, numerous steps, and cobblestone surfaces. The two historic burying grounds visited on foot date back to the 1600s and are not wheelchair accessible.
