WHAT YOU VISIT
Bergen by E-Bike
all Norway's second largest city has to offer on an electric bike. Also known as an e-bike, it functions like a regular bike but is equipped with an electric motor to give you an extra bit of propulsion when you need it. After your small group transfers to the bike station, you'll meet your experienced guide for a safety lesson, don your helmet, hop on your e-bike and pedal through Bergen's bustling streets past the iconic 12th century Bergen Cathedral and Grieg Hall.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Stops are plentiful as you cruise around Bergen. One notable subject is Bergen Cathedral. Reconstructed through the centuries in Medieval, Romanesque and Gothic styles due to numerous reconstructions, look carefully as you approach and you'll see the cannonball that has been lodged in the cathedral's exterior for over 360 years during a sea battle between English and Dutch fleets.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Bergen's environs are just as enticing as the city itself. Zip along Bryggen's narrow cobbled lanes to the UNESCO Site of Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf and stop for a visit at the harbor side fish market. Back on the bike, you'll head out to the peaceful Nordnes peninsula, a hidden gem known for its colorful, well-preserved houses then return via the pedestrian-friendly Marken Street in the city center.
