まずはバスで車窓からの景色を楽しみながら高崎山自然動物園へ向かいます。高崎山には1,000頭以上の野生のニホンザルが暮らしており、餌付けの時間にこの自然動物園にやってきます。檻がないので、大きな猿やこざるを近くで見学することができます。次に、別府に戻って「地獄めぐり」をしましょう。各温泉が地獄を思い起こさせることからその名がついています。人気の写真撮影スポット、深紅の水を湛えた血の池地獄とコバルトブルー色が美しい海地獄を見学し、港に戻ります。
A duo of activities highlights some of the best of Beppu and its surrounding areas on this half-day excursion. The extravaganza begins with some monkey business! Board your motorcoach and enjoy a scenic drive to Mt. Takasaki Monkey Park, a forested mountain and home to over 1,500 wild Japanese monkeys. These primates are quite accustomed to visitors, and it is possible to get very close in order to take their pictures! Then, return to Beppu to experience the town's celebrated hot springs, the Jigoku Meguri - or "Boiling Hells." Intended for viewing rather than bathing, the springs were given their name because it was said that these mysterious, steamy attractions resembled a scene from hell. Return to port having seen two of the most popular sites in Beppu.
