Dark Night Cave Tubing Adventure:
Dark Night Cave and Adventures is a 100% Belizean-owned company working to create a sustainable attraction that preserves the natural environment and its wondrous artifacts. The 2,600-acre property offers high adventure within an incredible rainforest setting steeped in archaeological finds. Three designated areas are set for thrills. Hell Gate offers river rafting and tubing excursions along the Sibun River and the Caves Branch River; Dark Night Cave is the center for cave tubing adventures; and Daylight Cave is the rafting mecca. There is also a zip line course through Jaguar Cave, and the property boasts centuries-old Mayan artifacts, and evidence of the area's earliest inhabitants, the Paleo-Indians who hunted the wooly mammoth and giant sloths.
What you see along the way:
An approximately one-hour drive journeys through Belize City, as your knowledgeable guide provides the history of the region. Then continue along the George Price Highway through small villages, past wetland savannas, admiring the Belizean flora, before turning into the rainforest locale located on the foothills of the Maya Mountains. Within this rugged environment lies the Dark Night Cave Adventure.
Lunch:
Hell Gate Bar & Restaurant serves up a tasty meal under a traditional thatched structure overlooking the picturesque Sibun River.

Minimum age is 4 years. Maximum weight is 280 lbs. Please realistically assess your physical fitness and ability prior to booking. Water shoes are recommended for river tubing portion and are available to rent. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, a cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Guests with back, neck or heart problems are not allowed to participate. Not advisable for guests with mobility limitations. Bring insect repellent.
