Cook Your Catch Fishing Adventure

Set out by speedboat to fish the productive Caribbean waters surrounding Rendezvous Caye and the Belize Barrier Reef. Guided by experienced local captains, you'll try your luck bottom fishing for seasonal species such as snapper, grouper, barracuda, and lionfish. Fishing rods, gloves, lures, and a fishing gaff are provided, making this an enjoyable experience for both
first-time and experienced anglers.

Rendezvous Caye

Rendezvous Caye is a tiny private coral sandbar located just off the coast of Belize City atop the Belize Barrier Reef. Fringed by swaying palm trees, soft white sand, and crystal-clear turquoise waters, this secluded island offers an idyllic setting to relax, enjoy a freshly prepared beachside lunch, and experience the natural beauty of Belize's Caribbean coast.

What you will see along the way:

Guests are picked up from the ship in a cabin cruiser where they are taken to the island and board a speedboat for their fishing adventure. Cruise across the turquoise waters of the Belize Barrier Reef, the largest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere and one of the world's most diverse marine ecosystems. Comprising approximately 70 species of hard coral, 36 species of soft coral, and more than 500 species of fish, the reef supports an extraordinary variety of marine life. Charles Darwin described it as "the most remarkable barrier reef in the West Indies" in 1842. Today, much of the reef is protected as part of the Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System, a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized for its outstanding natural beauty and ecological importance.

Lunch:

After your time on the water, enjoy your catch grilled fresh on the beach and served with traditional Belizean rice and beans, creamy coleslaw, and a refreshing citrus punch. If the fish aren't biting, a tasty island barbecue chicken lunch will be served instead, accompanied by stories of the one that got away.
