WHAT YOU VISIT
Embarkation: Athens City Tour, Acropolis with Airport Transfer and Priority Boarding
We've made embarkation day easy with airport transfer and priority boarding so you can discover the birthplace of democracy as soon as you arrive. After landing and collecting your luggage at the airport, you'll be directed to the tour's starting point where you'll meet your guide and coach at Exit B at 1:30pm. From here, you'll travel through Athens's age-old streets and disembark at the foot of the Acropolis, the renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site. Soak up the views as you walk up a steep, winding path through the Propylaea and see the Porch of the Caryatids in the distance. Reinforced by the hand of man, the natural fortress of the Acropolis stands 70 meters (230 feet) above the city. On the north side of the Acropolis lays the Erectheum, the sacred site where it was decided that Athena would rule the city. At the end of the tour, you'll be transferred to the port of Athens where you will be granted priority check-in and embarkation through security and immigration.

During your city tour, you can snack on fruit (apple or banana) cereal bar, cookie and bottled water.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
On a panoramic drive through the city, some of the highlights you'll see include Constitution Square, the ex-Royal Palace where the Evzones keep watch in their traditional costumes, the Temple of Zeus and the Old Olympic Stadium.

IMPORTANT: This tour must be booked at least 30 days before your embarkation day in Athens.
Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience. This tour involves a considerable amount of walking with an uphill climb to the Parthenon, approximately 80 steps up and 20 on the top. The marble steps are slippery, especially when it rains. Wear comfortable non-skid walking shoes. Shade is limited; please dress accordingly. Bring a hat and wear sunscreen. Expect dense crowding at the site. This tour is available only to embarking guests with flights arriving to Athens before 12 Noon. You must meet your Guide and the motor coach at the airport, Exit B at 1:30pm.
2:00pm is the departure time of the last tour bus from the airport, should there be a sufficient number of guests some buses may depart earlier than 2:00pm.
Guests who did not purchase a flight through Princess Air should enter the inbound flight information into "Ocean Ready" in the Princess App in order for the flight details to be known by the tour operator.
Bookings not associated with known inbound flight information will not be processed
If you have already purchased a transfer to the ship with your cruise booking, a refund will be processed on board the ship, as this excursion automatically includes a transfer. Your luggage will travel with you on the same bus. Not recommended for wheelchair users.
