Two routes are designed around your freedom to see the main points of interest. Stroll the city streets, visit museums (entrance fees for attractions not included), discover the city's hidden treasures on a free escorted photo tour, visit Mars Hill where Apostle Paul delivered his speech about the identity of "the unknown God" and the Tower of Athens, considered the world's first meteorological station, and more! Pre-recorded audio commentary is available in English, Greek, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Brazilian, Portuguese, Mandarin, Portuguese and Turkish.

When hunger calls, treat your taste buds to the tantalizing flavors of Greece. Try "pastitsio," a creamy baked pasta dish usually made of minced lamb and macaroni or a cup of kave and a sweet cream-filled treat such as "bougatsa."
SHOPPING
Athens boasts quaint shops that sell everything from hand-painted ceramics and hand-made leather sandals, to worry beads known as "kompoloi" and "mati," the peculiar blue talisman that resembles an eye believed to ward off bad luck. Of course, you can't go wrong with ouzo and olives.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
As the bus makes its way around town, you can remain seated and listen to the audio guide or hop on and off at any of the scheduled stops.

If there is a queue, please show your pre-purchased ticket (from the ship) to the Big Bus Staff and they will usher you to the front.
Please exchange your purchased ticket for your hop on hop off ticket with the Big Bus staff or bus driver upon boarding the buses.
No entrance fees to attractions or meals are included. This is a tour on your own.
Travel on the Big Bus tour bus from the Piraeus cruise terminal to the Acropolis & Parthenon (on the Piraeus Line for about 40 mins) and there you can show your ticket to join the Athens historical center tour (Athens Line). Both lines will service the Acropolis & Parthenon and intersect at Stop 5 (Interchange Temple of Zeus -South Acropolis Entrance). Big Bus hostesses are at the major Bus Stops stop to advise. The Riviera and Beaches line is accessible from the Piraeus line at stops 1 and 2.
Access Facilities
Big Bus Athens Piraeus offer ramp access to board all buses with one designated wheelchair bay upon each lower deck of the bus. There is storage for two foldable wheelchairs per bus on the lower deck. Guests will have to navigate a number of steps to the top deck.
Buses are open-air buses. Tour is sensitive to weather conditions (rain, wind and sun). Air-conditioned not guaranteed.
Active participation from guests is required when choosing to Hop Off. Inclined steps to reach the double decker bus upper level.
This tour involves shared transportation with other individuals at leisure and if the bus arrives full, the route being constant, we suggest you wait for the next arrival. Waits may be necessary at peak times. This is not a guided tour, it's an experience on your own .Venue entrances not specified are not included.
