What You Will Visit:
Horseback Riding Adventure
Experience Puerto Plata's scenic countryside from the saddle as you follow your guide along wooded trails winding through tropical forests and groves of fruit trees. The ride continues to a secluded beach, where you'll enjoy riding along the shoreline before returning through the countryside. Your horseback adventure includes approximately 90 minutes in the saddle, with beach time incorporated into the ride. Before departing, your guide will provide a safety briefing, fit you with a helmet, and match you with your horse. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are recommended for your comfort while riding.

Wooded trails lined with tropical fruit trees lead through Puerto Plata's unspoiled countryside before opening onto a secluded Caribbean beach. Here, your ride continues along the shoreline, offering changing views of the coastline before returning through the peaceful tropical landscape.

During your horseback adventure, pause for a refreshing break to enjoy typical Dominican snacks accompanied by a fruit punch before continuing your ride.

Special Notes
Guests must be at least 8 years old to participate, and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older. The maximum weight is 220 pounds. For safety reasons, this excursion is not available to pregnant guests or those with back or neck injuries. Helmets are required throughout the horseback ride. Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes for comfort, and bring a hat, sunscreen, camera, and cash or a credit card for additional purchases. Depending on weather conditions, guests may have the opportunity to ride their horse into the water, and beach time is incorporated into the horseback riding experience.
