Monkeyland
A very friendly hello from a band of squirrel monkeys welcomes you to this eco attraction set at our Monkeyland ranch. A naturalist guide leads the way through this lush environment to a clearing populated by adorable and friendly squirrel monkeys. With a plate of fruit in hand, you'll find these cheeky primates that are more than happy to tuck into lunch, climb on your shoulders and chatter in your ear. The guide ensures your safety, and this breed of monkey is quite tame and amiable. The monkeys have even been known to snatch cell phones and take "selfies," so minimize accessible accessories.

Countryside Home Visit
You're invited into a typical countryside home to learn how the locals once lived without modern conveniences and to learn the history and culture of the island. Samples of organic coffee and the popular mamajuana drink are offered.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Along the way, take in views of the lovely Dominican Republic shoreline and observe the local life.

BEVERAGE
Sample organic countryside coffee and the magical and medicinal drink called mamajuana, a potent concoction of red wine, rum and honey infused with herbs and tree bark. A deep shade of red, it has a taste similar to port wine.
