Capybara Meet & Greet

Ocean World Adventure Park is home to one of the world's most gentle and fascinating creatures. During this 20-minute Capybara Encounter, discover why these highly social, semi-aquatic mammals are known for their calm, curious temperament. Native to South America, capybaras live in family groups and are perfectly adapted to life both on land and in the water. Following an informative introduction by animal specialists, you'll have the opportunity to meet, pet, and interact with these remarkable animals while learning about their habitat, behaviors, unique adaptations, and the important role they play in their ecosystem. Photographs will be available to purchase.

Ocean World Day Pass

Set on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic, Ocean World is a marine and wildlife park offering a variety of family-friendly attractions and activities. Snorkel among hundreds of colorful tropical fish in a coral reef habitat, stroll through the rainforest to feed love birds, and see flamingos, macaws, and toucans. Depending on the day's schedule, you may also enjoy dolphin, sea lion, and bird entertainment exhibits, before relaxing at the lagoon beach or joining in beach games.

What you will see along the way:

Founded in 1496, Puerto Plata is one of the Dominican Republic's oldest cities, where centuries of history blend with colorful Caribbean charm.
