WHAT YOU VISIT
Cheese Dairy Buffalo Farm
The Campania region is the birthplace of "mozzarella di bufala" or buffalo mozzarella. First introduced in the 12th century, the buffalo farm carries on the tradition of making this tasty with rich buffalo milk. Following a tour, enjoy samplings of their dairy products produced exclusively from the milk of the buffaloes bred on the farm.

Paestum Archeology Park
No visit to Salerno is complete without a visit to Paestum,a UNESCO World Heritage Site that's home to an array of timeless treasures. Rivaling even Pompeii, Paestum is an uncrowded haven of Greek history. Dating back before recorded history, Salerno found its place as a Greek colony around 600 B.C. Today, Paestum offers a rare look at "Magna Graecia" (Greater Greece) on the Italian mainland. Like the Pantheon in Greece, Paestum boasts three beautiful, columned temples acclaimed as some of the world's best-preserved ancient Greek temples. Step inside the adjacent museum for views of even more ancient artifacts.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Paestum is a photographer's delight. Focus your lens on the Temple of Hera. Standing six to seven meters tall (19 to 22 feet), it's the oldest dating back to around 550 B.C. Steps away is the Temple of Neptune built between 460 and 450 B.C. with columns reaching 8.88 meters high (29 feet). Located on the opposite side of the archeology park is the Temple of Athena. Constructed around 500 B.C. and measuring approximately 33 meters (108 feet) in length, it typifies iconic classical Greek architecture.
