WHAT YOU VISIT
Sorrento
Set atop the rocky cliffs close to the end of the Sorrento Peninsula, the 2,600-year-old city is one of Italy's most attractive resort towns. Enjoy free time to stroll the cobblestone side streets, explore the shops that line Corso Italia, admire the Baroque architecture of Piazza Tasso, or walk along the rocky shoreline.
Winery
Visit a celebrated winery located on the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius, the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site. Meet the winery owner and learn how the volcanic soil creates unique wines as you tour the 29-acre vineyard. Following the tour, you'll sit down for a sampling of grappa (unaged brandy made from grape skins, seeds, and stems) or distilled liquor, and five wines accompanied by bruschetta.
