What you will visit:

Positano
One of the prettiest towns on the glamorous Amalfi Coast, Positano charms with its candy-colored homes clinging vertically to the face of a flower-strewn cliff, the subject of myriad postcards and photos. Once a major trading port in the Middle Ages, today it is a sophisticated retreat for tourism, filled with boutiques, beach shops, fine restaurants and cafés. This fashionable resort, centered around the parish church of Santa Maria Assunta, delights all who explore its pedestrian lanes and dizzying stairs, camera in hand. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, as the pavement is uneven.
What you will see along the way:
Enjoy a 60-minute motorboat cruise along the gorgeous Amalfi coastline, a 31-mile (50-kilometer) stretch of coastline so picturesque that is was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997 for its magnificent natural beauty, majestic scenery, magnificent cliffs and historical importance. You'll cruise along the bright blue waters from Salerno, and with each curve of the coastline, you'll be treated to stony outposts, quaint villages, tiled church steeples and bougainvillea-dotted hillsides.
Snack/Lunch:
Enjoy lunch or a snack on your own in Positano, a foodie's paradise. You'll find no better place than the Amalfi Coast for homemade pastas and fresh fish from the sea. There are restaurants and cute, contemporary cafés to be found at all price points, as well as pastry and gelato shops for a sweet treat. Be sure to conclude your meal with Italy's famous liqueur, limoncello, made from the massive lemons that grow in the region.
Shopping:
From souvenir shops to beachwear and specialty items, there are plenty of places to browse in this delightful enclave. Many sell wonderful artisan ceramics produced locally-just be sure to look for the mark that says made in Positano to ensure authenticity.

Schedule

Special Notes

Bring local currency or credit cards for shopping, meals, drinks etc. Positano has been built into a sheer cliff. The pavement is uneven, and inclines or stairs must be negotiated to reach the upper level of the village.

This tour does not operate in December. Passengers who suffer from motion sickness should take the motor-launch ride into consideration.

During the navigation along the Amalfi Coast, commentary will be provided by the guide through audio headsets. However, due to weather conditions, wind, sea conditions, and the natural engine noise of the motorboat, explanations may not always be clearly audible to all guests. While every effort is made to ensure the best possible listening experience, these factors are beyond our control and may occasionally affect the quality of the audio during the coastal crossing. The boat offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The vessel used may vary in size and capacity. Depending on the size of the group and seating arrangements, you may be seated either inside or outside.
