What you will visit:

Capri
The stunningly beautiful isle of Capri is accessible by hydrofoil/jet boat ride and cable car. Upon arrival at this iconic resort, on the less populated west side, you'll find the town of Anacapri situated high up in the hills as well as the grounds of Villa San Michele. On the east side, the iconic town of Capri is home to the exclusive boutiques and shops of the rich and famous and the Gardens of Augustus. The Piazzetta, the heart of the town of Capri, refers to the square's tiny size, but there's plenty of life to be found here among the colorful cafés. This hub of activity is the perfect spot for people watching and socializing.
What you will see along the way:
The island of Capri is one of the most beautiful and visited destinations in Campania. In ancient times, it was made famous in Homer's Odysseus, as it is here that the hero narrowly escaped the song of the sirens. The magical charms of the island continue to enthrall visitors. The rocky caves along the water's edge, the deep blue sea and its crystal coves have inspired poets, writers and artists through the years.
Lunch:
While seeing the sights, pause for a delightful lunch (at your own expense) in one of the many restaurants and cafés serving authentic southern Italian cuisine using fresh, seasonal ingredients from the Campania region.
Shopping:
In the town of Capri, you'll find some of the best shopping along the Amalfi Coast. The most popular items to bring home from Capri are handmade sandals, artisan perfumes and the delicate aperitif limoncello.

Special Notes

This is an "On Your Own" tour. This tour does not include a guide, but only an escort who can provide directions and suggestions on sites to visit on your own in Capri. Entrance fees, headsets, meals, funicular or transportation tickets in Capri are also not included, and guests should bring local currency or credit cards. Guests who prefer a more comprehensive, guided experience should book tour SL3-125 "Capri & Anacapri With Lunch" instead. Wear comfortable walking shoes and light clothes. Bring water, head cover, sunblock.
Capri is popular, so you might encounter crowds and delays at the funicular railway and the boarding area for the jetfoil boat in Capri as well as the local mini-buses.

The return boat ride from Capri direct to Salerno requires a minimum number of participants. If that minimum is not met, guests will take a boat ride from Capri to Naples and then transferred by bus (about 45 minutes) from Naples to the ship in Salerno.

Tour includes an approximately 100-minute boat ride each way to/from Capri; passengers suffering from motion sickness may wish to take the boat ride into consideration when booking this tour.
