WHAT YOU VISIT
El Alamein War Museum

Inside you'll find military weapons and artillery including a tank, maps, photos and small
models detailing the battle. There is also a diorama display that shows the main paths of advance and retreat until the Axis forces surrendered to the Allies in Tunis in 1943. Outside the museum, there is a collection of tanks, artillery and hardware.
Commonwealth War Cemetery
Those buried here are soldiers from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, France and India, who fought and died for the Allied cause. Outside of the cemetery is a small separate memorial to the Australians, and a little further east is a Greek War Memorial.
