Your half-day excursion begins at the pier where you'll board your air-conditioned motor coach and drive along Stirling Terrace, passing a number of Albany's superb Victorian buildings, including the Courthouse, Rotunda and Old Post Office. Stop at Dog Rock for a photo opportunity of the large granite formation shaped like a dog's head, which dominates Albany's central business district en route to Torndirrup National Park.

Next, you make your way to the Torndirrup National Park. Here you will visit a lookout for glorious views of dramatic land formations called "The Gap" and "Natural Bridge." The Gap drops 78 feet to the raging sea while the Natural Bridge resembles a huge granite suspension bridge spanning the torrent.

You will then continue on toAlbany's Historic Whaling Station (formerly known as Whale World). This award-winning interactive museum is housed at the former Cheynes Beach Whaling Company. In its heyday, the Station's chasers took up to 850 whales a year. The museum features over 20 exhibits, three state-of-the-art multimedia theatres, and a restored Cheynes IV whale chaser.

You will have time to visit the gift shop before boarding your motor coach for the return route, which takes you around Princess Royal Harbour, passing the historic brig "Amity" en route to the pier and your cruise ship.
