Your half-day excursion begins with a brief city sights tour in your air-conditioned motor coach. You will drive through Albany's main street on your way to see Dog Rock, Middleton Beach and for a photo stop at Mt. Clarence Lookout. Here you'll have spectacular views which includes Princess Royal Harbour, King George Sound and the Albany Wind Farm.
Next your will travel along the Princess Royal Harbour shoreline and enjoy the coastline and scenery that this area has to offer, en route to Torndirrup National Park. Here you can walk to a lookout for glorious views of dramatic land formations called "The Gap" and "Natural Bridge." The Gap drops 78 feet to the raging sea while the Natural Bridge resembles a huge granite suspension bridge spanning the torrent. It's a thrilling vantage point, and for safety purposes, guests should not deviate from marked paths during the walk.
Afterwards, you'll re-board the motor coach and continue on to Albany Wind Farm. Situated on the edge of a cliff overlooking the coast, this eco-friendly farm consists of twelve 1,800-kilowatt wind turbines, each 213 feet tall with enormous 115-foot-long blades. The wind turbines are some of the biggest in the world and the largest to be installed in the southern hemisphere. Take the pathway along the cliff that leads to an outlook.
