Airlie Beach Segway Tour
Cruise effortlessly on a Segway® 2x2. Ideal for all ages and ability, you can enjoy the feeling of agility and freedom that these unique, motorized transporters provide. With sophisticated tilt sensors, a Segway allows you to maintain balance and move forward, backwards, left and right with perfect ease – it's one of the best ways to soak up the sights. But before you hop aboard your two-wheeler, you'll meet an expert guide who will take you step-by-step through a comprehensive and personalized lesson on the operational and safety aspects of riding your personal transporter. Then you're ready to roll!

During your scenic ride along the waterfront, you'll pause for a rest and have a chance to snap some photos.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
With the cool ocean breezes kissing your face you'll glide along Bicentennial Boardwalk. Just a little over two miles long, the boardwalk meanders between the lagoon in Airlie Beach and the parklands at Cannonvale Beach. Soon, you'll varoom to Shingley Beach, one of Whitsunday's most popular parks.

Special Notes
Use of hand held cameras or phones is prohibited while riding the Segway, however guests are welcome to film or photograph Segway riders or scenery while not riding the Segway. (Eg: at rest stops or photos taken of the guests riding the Segway by another person). Good vision, balance. No pre-existing knee, ankle, foot conditions. Not suitable for pregnant women. Able to stand for min 30 minutes at a time.
Should be able to follow directions of the Tour Guide, must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Throughout the tour there will be at least one rest stop where guests can dismount the Segway and sit and rest on chairs or benches provided along the tour
Stamina to use ankle and leg movements to control the Segway and ability to stand for the duration of the tour are required. Segway participants must remain alert to their surroundings, the condition of the terrain and possible traffic
Riders should be of good physical health and be able to stand and balance unaided. Riders should also have no major knee or foot conditions and be able to stand for at least half an hour. Adequate 20:20 vision and be able to see short and far distances or have glasses/contact lenses to assist eyesight is necessary. Min weight 45 kg max 117 kg. Minimum age is 12 years.
