Mussels & Music: A Cape Breton Pub Session

With the aroma of ocean-fresh seafood in the air and the symphony of clinking glasses and laughter accompanied by the tunes of Cape Breton music, this 90-minute, magical mix of music and mussels is the perfect opportunity to explore Nova Scotia's culinary and cultural scene. On site at the Joan Harriss Cruise Pavilion, you'll learn why Cape Breton is known as "Music Island," and in addition to the lively musical entertainment and sing-along, you'll enjoy East Coast mussels, paired with a flight of locally crafted beer or cider.
What you will see along the way:

The show takes place at the Royal Cape Breton Room, on site at the Joan Harriss Cruise Pavilion, also home to the world's largest fiddle, a symbol of Cape Breton Island's Celtic cultural heritage.

Tasting/Samples:
Cape Breton is known internationally for its music and amazing seafood. Enjoy a bowl of fresh mussels (or pita chips and dip) delectably prepared by one of Sydney's finest restaurants. Cape Breton is also home to a growing craft beverage industry. This tour includes a flight (4-oz. samples x 4) of local craft beer and/or cider.
