Lysefjord by RIB
Join a small group for a fast and thrilling boat ride around picturesque Lysefjord in a rigid inflatable boat, known an RIB. Capable of startling acrobatic maneuvers and high speeds, RIBs provide an excellent vehicle for this exhilarating excursion that begins at the pier and ends with a memory making adventure. First, you'll meet your captain for a safety briefing and suit up in a life jacket and board the RIB. Then, hang on as the captain revs the engine and steers the RIB out of the harbor and through what appears to be a never-ending fjord.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Keep your camera handy. In addition to the stunning scenery and magnificent rock formations, the fjord's inviting waters are home to seals, porpoises and the occasional orca and the mountains are rich in wildlife like deer, eagles and falcons.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
A highlight of your tour may be the wonderful views of Pulpit Rock, a steep cliff formed 10,000 years ago. Rising 600 meters (1,968 feet) above the fjord, its dramatic good looks were featured in the 2018 Tom Cruise movie, "Mission: Impossible-Fallout."

This tour is not suitable for those with back or neck injuries or conditions which may be affected by the fast, bumpy ride. Pregnant women and children under the age of 8 may not participate. Minimum weight to participate is 30 kg (66 lbs.), minimum height is 59 centimeters (2 feet).The RIB ride lasts approximately 1½ hours. Survival suits are provided and must be worn.
