Llama Farm
Engage in a guided walk with a llama, a very friendly, well-socialized animal, during a relaxed and scenic visit to a local farm. You'll meet Simon Page, the farm owner, and tour the lovely property, where seasonal fruits and vegetables grow in abundance and sheep roam. You'll meet the flock of 30-plus llamas gathered in the wide field, slip their halters on and engage in a handling demonstration. Then, with knowledgeable guides accompanying the group, escort your furry charge on a leisurely walk through the fjord meadows and alongside the Morkrid River while enjoying commentary about farm life.
What you will see along the way:
Nestled between Northern Europe's highest mountain pass, the tiny village of Skjolden is home to about 200 people. Tiny lanes lead to modest buildings and the Urnes Stave Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, surrounded by stunning views of the tallest mountains in Scandinavia.
