Your excursion begins at the pier where you'll board your air-conditioned motorcoach for the drive to Wat Krom, the Buddhist temple at the base of Sihanouk Mountain. Its name is a literal description of its location as "Wat" means temple and "Krom" means "lower." Explore the temple, which features excellent views of the sea and a small chapel dedicated to Ya-Mao, a local deity.
Continue past Independence Square where you'll stop for a photo opportunity at the War Memorial, commemorating Cambodia's war dead.
Next, stop at Sihanoukville's bustling marketplace, Psar Lu Market. Browse the many stalls with their colorful displays of fish and shellfish, poultry, palm sugar, tropical fruits, flowers and crafts.
Visit a local school where you'll meet the children and observe their daily school ground activities. Then, drive along coastal streets and photo stop Statue of Love.
Enjoy refreshments and relax at Sihanoukville beach resort before re-boarding your motorcoach for the return route to the port and your cruise ship.
