What you will see along the way:

Corfe Castle
The footsteps of knights and kings echo through the ruins of the 1,000-year-old Corfe Castle. Built in wood on a natural hill, the castle was reconstructed in the 11th century by William the Conqueror and was the site of the murder of Edward, the Saxon boy king, in 978 AD. Today the castle, set atop the Purbeck Hills and surrounded by a charming village and lush countryside, is considered one of the most romantic spots in Britain.

What you will see along the way:
Travel through the countryside of Dorset, admiring the rolling green hills dotted with quaint towns and villages. The area is steeped in natural history, with a 200-million-year-old Jurassic Coastline, whose remarkable geological value earned it a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site designation. The area is home to the 180-foot-tall hillside carving of the Cerne Abbas Giant and boasts beautiful beaches, limestone ridges and stunning chalk downs, with half the county designated as an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.'

Photo opportunities:
From the hilltop locale of the Corfe Castle ruins, focus your lens on the breathtaking vistas that sweep across Purbeck.
