La Palma Off the Beaten Path by 4x4 Bus: A Small Group Tour
Join a small group on a full day tour of La Palma's volcanoes along the Cumbre Vieja volcanic ridge. Ride along on paved and dirt roads in a 4x4 bus to Los Molinos viewpoint. Situated at 600 meters (1,968 feet) above sea level, it holds panoramic views of the coast and windmills once used for milling grain. Back on the 4x4, you'll continue past the village of Fuencaliente, home to the dormant San Antonio volcano. Take a look into the caldera as you walk along the steep path dotted with lava rocks and solidified lava flows.

Soaring 633 meters (2,077 feet) above sea level, the San Antonio volcano boasts picture-perfect views of the ocean, the saltpans, the lighthouse and the Teneguia volcano.
LUNCH
Refuel and recharge at a local wine cellar with a lunch of potatoes, Serrano ham, mojo sauce (a traditional blend of dried red or green peppers), cheese, Canarian chicharrones (macaroons), bread, wine and water.

The town of Fuencaliente is renowned for its black volcanic landscape, white salt fields, blue ocean views and migratory birds.

Guests should be able to get on and off the 4x4 bus (5 high) steps. Note that the driving goes through off road terrain, guests with neck, back conditions should take this into consideration before booking. Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes. Bring sun protection, head cover, water, sunglasses. Not suitable for guests using mobility devices.
