The Amis are Taiwan's largest indigenous group, with a vibrant culture rooted in the natural landscapes of eastern Taiwan. Known for their rich oral traditions, colorful festivals, and strong community bonds, the Amis people have preserved their way of life through music, dance, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to the land. Hualien, nestled between the Central Mountain Range and the Pacific Ocean, has long been the heartland of Amis culture.
At Amis Hunter School, guests will gain hands-on insight into indigenous hunting traditions and Amis culture.
