Hoi An City (walking tour)
The ancient and charming town of Hoi An was known as Faifo when it was the Cham Kingdom's main international port. Between the 17th and 19th centuries, Hoi An was considered the best trading destination in all of Southeast Asia. The city's Old Town is a delight, with its small shops and winding lanes. Incredibly well preserved, Hoi An's international history is reflected in its architectural styles, wooden houses, temples and pagodas reflecting both Chinese and Japanese influences, and its traditional customs.
