Have you always wanted to ride a Segway®? This personal transportation system is a zippy, fun way to see the local sights of charming Costa Maya.
Enjoy a short taxi ride from the pier to the Segway® meeting place. Before you begin, a thorough safety briefing and orientation will be provided. Segways® are quite easy to ride and very stable; you will quickly get the hang of it. After a practice session, follow your guide onto the beach front pedestrian path and off you go!
Costa Maya is a colorful tourist town in the Mexican Caribbean. Seaside hotels, restaurants, dive shops and beach clubs welcome visitors to its sunny shores and sparkling white sands. The Segway® affords the opportunity to explore at a comfortable pace. Your fun filled ride gives you a true sense of the local flavor of Costa Maya. A refreshing sea breeze adds to the enjoyment of the experience as you glide along picturesque scenery on your Segway®.
A refreshment stop en route will allow you to take a break to admire the stunning blue waters and to snap some pictures. At a beautiful beach club, you'll have an opportunity to swim, relax on the sparkling shore and sip a chilled beverage. This is your time to do as you please.
When you are ready to depart, leave your Segway® behind and leave the driving to the provided taxi transportation as you return to the pier.

Special Notes
Closed toe shoes must be worn while on the Segway. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, hat, insect repellent, sunglasses, additional clothing, cameras and reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen (no other kind of sunscreen is allowed in the water). To avoid sunburn, bring light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Minimum age to participate is 12 years old, maximum age to participate is 65 years old. Minimum weight to participate is 100 pounds and maximum weight to participate is 250 pounds. Once participants join their tour, they will be required to complete a liability waiver. If you decide to stay longer at the beach, return transportationwill be on your own.
Medical Restriction
Expectant mothers, guests with diabetes, heart conditions or if you are taken any form of blood pressure medication are not allowed to participate for safety reasons.
