Your first stop on this active day excursion is breath-taking Tumuli Park, home to some 20 royal tombs that date back to the Silla Dynasty. View the colorful Chonmachong, or 'Flying Horse Tomb' which belonged to an unknown king, and was excavated in 1973. Journey to the National Museum, a treasure trove full of Korean cultural artifacts including the 'Divine Bell of King Songdok'. Savor a delicious Korean lunch before heading to the serene Bulguksa Temple. Perched on the slopes of Mt. Tohamsan, this quiet oasis is a fine example of Silla architecture. After enjoying the temple and grounds, you will board the bus for the return journey back to port via brief shopping at the souvenir shop.
