Delve into Victoria's rich history and captivating culture on a three-hour tour of this charming city, the capital of British Columbia, that includes independent exploration of the Royal BC Museum. Begin the day taking in Victoria's highlights as you gaze out the window of your comfortable motorcoach. Your route travels past the Mile Zero Monument, through Beacon Hill park where if you are lucky you'll see peacocks roam, and popular Oak Bay Village enroute to the top of Mount Tomie for a photo stop and a bird's eye view of the city. Continue past the Netherlands Centennial Carillon and Thunderbird Park before arriving at the Royal BC Museum. Here you'll enjoy 90 minutes to explore on your own, taking in the natural history displays. On your return to port, see such sights as Victoria's downtown Inner Harbor, the grand Empress Hotel, and British Columbia's legislative buildings. You'll have the option to extend your time at the museum or stay in the downtown area to explore independently and make your own way back to the ship on an approximately 25 minute walk.
