Experience Malta on a narrated drive about the island. Visit Marsaxlokk, the island's largest fishing village. You'll stroll the waterfront and view colorful luzzu boats and fishermen mending their nets. You'll board your motorcoach for a 35 minute drive to the Meridiana Wine Estate in Ta'Qali. Here, you'll enjoy a wine tasting session enveloped by Meridiana's vineyards and a stunning view of Malta's old capital city, Mdina. You'll learn of the history of wine making and sample different wines, paired with typical Maltese cheese. Next, you'll drive to the Bristow Potteries at the Ta'Qali Crafts Village and witness local artisans creating their handmade artwork.
Special Notes:
Participants must be at least 18 years of age in order to participate in the wine tasting portion of this tour.Artisans at Bristow Potteries will not be working on Sundays and Public Holidays, but the showroom and workshops will be open. Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience.
