What you will visit:

Mangrove Lagoon Wildlife Sanctuary and Marine Preserve
Nestled on the southern coast of St. Thomas, the protected Mangrove Lagoon Wildlife Sanctuary and Marine Preserve is a lush ecosystem rich in marine life and tropical flora. To the north, the landscape is dominated by volcanic cliffs. Explore by kayak and glide through this breathtaking environment amidst the gentle call of seabirds, then discover it on foot on a rugged nature hike through the forest and along a coral and shell beach.

What you will see along the way:
Discover the Mangrove Lagoon Wildlife Sanctuary and Marine Preserve by kayak, nature hike and snorkel, and immerse in the spectacular array of wildlife. Keep an eye out for dwarf herrings, snowy egrets, eagle rays, great barracudas, jellyfish, mangrove crab and nurse sharks in their natural environment. Look to the horizon for views of the Caribbean Sea, Buck Island and French Cap, a solid rock island, in the distance. You'll witness volcanic cliffs, tidal pools and the rare geological blowhole. And on your swim, snorkeling in the shallow protected waters, admire the coral-fringed mangrove nursery, eagle rays, conch, sea cucumbers, starfish, turtles and octopus.

Snack:
After the activity of the day, refresh with a complimentary beverage and a light snack.

Shopping:
Souvenirs and T-shirts are available for purchase, as is a professional DVD of your adventure.
