WHAT YOU VISIT
Topper's Rhum Distillery
Located just minutes from Philipsburg, Topper's Rhum is a world-class premium rum that's handmade, bottled and packaged in a 6,000-square-foot facility. A winner with over 25 international awards, it was awarded 1st place in 2019's USA Today's "Ten Best Rum Distillery in the Caribbean." During a guided tour, you'll hear a little history of rum and rum making in the Caribbean and take a behind-the-scenes look at how the handcrafted rums are fermented, distilled and filtered to create a delicate and an undeniably smooth finish. In the tasting room, you can try some of the 100+ flavors in development and an unlimited samplings of six signature rums served with St. Maarten's famous famous rum cake. A visit to the barrel aging room offers a lesson in how to properly nose and taste rum.

SNACKS
After the distillery tour, you'll drive across the Caribbean's largest lagoon to Topper's award-winning restaurant. Here, you'll meet an expert chef and mixologist who will give you a hands-on class in how to cook with rum and make rum cocktails. Following the demonstration, you'll sit down and sample your tasty creations.

SHOPPING
Shop for unique St. Maarten gifts, signature rums and limited edition specialty rums that are only available for purchase at the distillery.
