WHAT YOU VISIT
- America's Cup 12-Cup Meter Yacht Race
This once-in-a-lifetime adventure has won the C.R.U.I.S.E. Award "Tour of the Season" for St. Maarten every year for the past 15 years.

Experience the exhilaration of America's Cup yacht racing aboard Dennis Conner's cup-winning Stars and Stripes or contenders Canada II and True North IV. You'll compete in an actual race around a shortened America's Cup course, and you're invited to "work the boat." The well trained crew provides all the guidance you need to grind a winch, trim a sail, punch a stopwatch, or take the helm and "drive" the race boat. Or you can just sit back, relax and enjoy what is perhaps the most exclusive sporting event in the world. No previous sailing experience is required.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
A victory celebration at the 12 Metre Clubhouse features a post-race rum punch and a visit to the boutique.

Special Notes:

Wear comfortable, rubber soled shoes. The minimum age required to participate without sailing experience is 9 years old and maximum age is 70 years old. Guests must be able to support themselves, stepping from tender to racing boats. Bring cash or credit card for the boutique. There are no toilets onboard the 12 Metre Yachts. Guests are recommended to use the facilities before departing on this tour. A liability waiver must be completed prior to participating on this tour. The tour ends at the 12 Metre Clubhouse, when guests are then at their own leisure to walk to the cruise ship terminal (5 mins) or downtown Philipsburg/Boardwalk (10 mins).
