What you will visit:

Beach Break
A rustic, laid-back beach offers a true, down-to-earth and truly Caribbean experience. All island beaches are public, and you are free to roam the wide stretch of sand. The sparkling water is warm and swimmable (no lifeguard on duty). Please be sure to bring a towel, sun protection, and a hat.


What you will you see along the way:
As you travel to the beach, take in the sights of Philipsburg, the capital of the Dutch side of St. Maarten. A mile-long commercial district lined with art galleries and boutiques anchors the tiny town with old-world charm and gingerbread architecture.


Shopping:
Philipsburg may be one mile long and only four streets wide, but it's a hot spot for duty-free shopping. Stroll down Front Street and look for electronics, perfume, spirits, and in particular watches and jewelry and so much more as you browse the colorful shops and boutiques.

Special Notes:

Participation is limited. Please be sure to bring a towel, sun protection, and sunglasses etc. Also bring enough cash to purchase a beverage or snack. You may notice seaweed along the shoreline. Every effort is made to keep the beaches clean but this is a natural occurrence and cannot be avoided. Beaches are public in St. Maarten and swimming is at your own risk. No life guards on duty. Please do not leave your personal effects unattended. Umbrellas are not included in the price. Nor are availability or cost of such items guaranteed. This is a basic beach area.
